JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Admin cum Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technical works, accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, and will be proficient in various accounting software including Zoho. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage technical site works, material purchase, financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks, Quicken, PeopleSoft, Sage, Xero).
  • At least1 year experience in Technical/Facility management company in UAE.
  • Candidate must have deep knowledge in technical works.
  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, and financial report writing.
  • Experience with non-profit accounting or corporate finance is a plus.
  • Familiarity with auditing practices and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Handle technical works.
  • Prepare technical work schedules as per the work.
  • Prepare technical quotations and contracts as per client requirement.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Conduct financial analysis and cash flow analysis to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Assist in auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Zoho, QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, or Xero for efficient financial management.
  • Interpret financial reports to provide insights into organizational performance.
