TE WHIWHINGA MAHI | THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an Admin/Logistics Coordinator - MedTech-IQ to join our team at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute (ABI). MedTech-IQ Tāmaki Makaurau is a newly established operation within the University, playing a pivotal role in supporting the national MedTech-IQ Aotearoa initiative.
In this role, you will provide operational logistics and administrative support to the MedTech-IQ team, assisting in the coordination of projects and programme activities. You will be responsible for organising meetings, maintaining administrative systems, handling purchasing and travel arrangements, and supporting internal and external engagement efforts.
This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week, fixed-term role for 24 months. The salary range for this position is $62,400 - $77,800 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

HE KŌRERO MŌU | ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator and Coordinator with experience in logistics and office management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with financial processing, including purchasing and reconciliations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting events, meetings, and travel logistics

A background in university administration or research coordination would be advantageous but not essential.
