Tempe Tyres, a leading tyre and wheel Wholesaler with multiple branches and well-established quality brands, is looking for a results-driven Admin Officer to join our team at our Tempe Tyres Wholesale Sydney branch.

This role is key to our continued success, and we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The Admin Officer will report directly to the branch manager and be responsible for a variety of tasks, including sales support and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Making warm outbound calls to existing customers to generate sales and follow up on previous inquiries or quotes.
  • Responding to all customer inquiries regarding product information, pricing availability, delivery schedules, and back orders in a timely manner.
  • Receiving inbound calls from both internal and external customers regarding sales or inquiries.
  • Accurately processing and entering sales orders and quotes.
  • Providing support and information to the field sales team.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Proven experience in sales and customer service.
  • The ability to upsell and cross-sell at every opportunity.
  • A ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
  • A friendly phone manner and strong communication skills.
  • The ability to think on your feet with great attention to detail.
  • A background or interest in the automotive industry is an advantage, though not essential.
