JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and organised individual to join our finance and administration team in Harpur Hill, Buxton.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft office software. Experience of using Excel, Word and Powerpoint would be preferred.
  • Good standard of general education, literate and numerate with experience of working office systems or in office environment desirable.
  • Good communication skills are essential.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Able to collate data and produce simple but meaningful management information.
  • Strong organisation skills, ability to work to deadlines and use initiative to solve problems.
  • To be responsible for maintaining excellent standards in the quality of own work.
  • To comply with the Mitie Quality System and Mitie company policies at all times.
  • Have an organised approach to work
  • To communicate effectively with other team members, management and customers.
Responsibilities

To respond appropriately to customer, client queries and other colleagues to deliver excellent customer service.
Input of data to the companies finance system on a daily basis.
Creating of Purchase Orders and Invoices for sub-contractor work.
Providing day to day administrative support for the operational teams
Organising meetings and booking of meeting rooms, as per requests received from the team.
Providing support to the operational teams with the taking and production of meeting minutes and actions when required.
Managing incoming invoices/statements on a monthly/weekly basis to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
Preparation of documents, and keeping accurate files in accordance with Business Processes.
Answering the telephone, taking and relaying messages for the team.
To be flexible to cover other areas of the operation, and to perform any other reasonable tasks, as necessary.
To ensure that all work areas are clean, tidy and safe. To follow the health, safety, fire and security procedures laid down and operated by Mitie and the Client Organisation
