QUALIFICATIONS ET COMPÉTENCES TECHNIQUES:

• 2 à 3 ans d’expérience solide avec nos composants de réseaux gérés (voir ci-dessus);
• Parfaitement bilingue en français et en anglais (à l’écrit et à l’oral);
• Expérience de la configuration, de l’exploitation et de la gestion de réseaux, de serveurs, d’équipements de stockage de différentes marques et d’un environnement VMware;
• Connaissance des systèmes et applications liés à la sécurité tels que les pare-feu, les systèmes de détection d’intrusion, les réseaux privés virtuels (VPN) et les réseaux, protocoles et concepts associés;
• Intérêt et capacité à apprendre les technologies nouvelles et émergentes.

We are looking for a highly skilled senior network and server administrator who is naturally passionate about IT to join our growing team.

THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL:

We are looking for an individual with an expert level understanding of Windows Servers and Networking. Someone with a solid work ethic who will be responsible with the following (non-exhaustive list):

• Manage network components: Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 server backups, licensing network infrastructures and devices (firewalls and switches), virtualization (ESXi), Veeam;
• You will jointly be responsible for the support and management of networks ranging from 10-100+ servers and end-user;
• Provide high-quality support to our customers and take ownership of incidents and requests until resolution;
• In team collaboration, planning, and managing infrastructures and migrations;
• Supporting Level 1 and 2 teams with advanced technical issues and providing guidance and coaching;
• Availability to occasionally work evenings and weekends for emergencies, with compensation.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• 2-3 years of strong experience with our managed network components (see above);
• Fully bilingual in English and French (written and spoken);
• Previous experience in configuring, operating, and managing networks, servers, storage equipment of various brands, and a VMware environment;
• Knowledge of security-related systems and applications such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, virtual private networks (VPNs), and associated network and protocols and concepts;
• Possess an interest in and ability to learn new and emerging technologies.
