We are a hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate group of professionals who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors. About the role CMW has maintained year-on-year growth since its establishment in 2012, and newest CMW office, Christchurch, is seeking a part-time Accounts Officer. The role is varied and would suit someone with a strong background in accounts/bookkeeping who is happy to get stuck in and help out wherever required to keep the office running smoothly. Outside of accounts, you'll also be involved with general, project-related and administrative tasks for the Christchurch Office. Responsibilities Timely processing of monthly accounts, reporting & reconciliation. Effective maintenance and administration of a range of office systems such as the Health & Safety System and Quality System in conjunction with the Office Manager Efficient running of the office including supplies, mail, calls and messages, couriers, photocopying, binding and general office maintenance. Accurate documentation of key meetings such as audits, health and safety meetings and team meetings Organisation of key communications and events for staff Develop positive & productive relationships with clients and our internal team Contribute positively to company culture through strong and effective communication, collaborative teamwork, practical solutions and having each other's backs Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Office Manager and team leaders Qualification/Experience 5-7 years previous experience working within a professional services office environment and on quality systems Experience with accounts and invoicing Relevant certificate or book-keeping qualification MYOB experience Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accurate Clear, confident, and articulate communicator Hard working, energetic and well presented NZ Citizen or hold Permanent working rights in NZ without restrictions Benefits Social and collaborative work culture Additional day leave on your birthday Personal novated lease options and employee discount platform Office social events throughout the year and that's just the beginning.
