KEY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the Republic of Ireland.
To be successful in this role you will need Leaving certificate (or equivalent), to include English Language and Mathematics OR Significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of academic requirements, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and previous experience of working in an admin/reception role to include answering telephone calls.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As an Admin assistant in Arran Chemical company you, will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks and administrative duties of the main office including receptionist and telephonist duties. As the first contact person representing the company, the administration assistant must act professional and friendly in dealing with visitors, ensuring efficient and clear sign in and out procedures.
The role involves sharing general administrative duties with the office team, managing incoming and outgoing calls, preparing shipping documentation, and handling ERP system-related tasks. Responsibilities also include printing, filing, scanning, and producing product labels after QC approval. The position requires liaising with delivery drivers, supporting customer visits, aiding other departments or managers, maintaining ISO-compliant document updates, and monitoring office supplies to ensure smooth operations.
