About the role Play a key role in managing day‑to‑day administrative and operational tasks, supporting the Technology team at BigHand. This position offers the chance to work on a truly global scale, collaborating with BigHand colleagues around the world and partnering closely with the Technology Senior Leadership Team. This is a part‑time role, working three days per week. What you’ll do Technology Leadership Support: Manage calendars and schedules for the Senior Technology Leadership, 5 staff, including coordinating meetings across departments and time zones, booking meeting rooms, organising external customers/advisor meetings (including restaurant bookings). Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts, prioritize high-impact meetings, and support OKR management across the business. Meeting & Event Management: Own the planning, budget management, logistics, and follow-up for technology team meetings, leadership offsites, product workshops and team events to ensure everything runs smoothly and effectively. Travel Coordination: Book domestic and international travel, accommodation, and itineraries for technology department funded travel, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Assist the Technology team with visa applications and submissions. Events: Support the planning and delivery of engaging team-building activities that bring our people together and boost morale. Manage event budgets, bookings, venues, catering, and itineraries. Administrative Tasks: Deliver day-to-day administrative support, including preparing presentations, drafting internal and external communications, taking meeting minutes, managing purchase orders, for the Technology department. Technology Department Staff Onboarding: Manage the technology department specific onboarding and offboarding processes for staff joining the technology department both on a contract, supplier and permanent basis. Manage core systems and processes: Tech training management system and, in discussion with leadership, the administration of tech courses. The staff engagement system, administration and reporting. Purchase Orders. Administration of the Major Incident process. Administration of the Technology information portal on the intranet. What we’re looking for Good Excel skills. Previous administration experience, ideally in a technology environment. Experience of managing multiple projects, working to challenging deadlines. Able to self-manage workload and prioritise tasks. Need to be forward thinking, see the problems and fix them, with the ability to use your initiative to resolve. Excellent interpersonal skills and you are able to communicate effectively at all levels as well having a strong customer service approach.
