Could you be part of the administration support team delivering an efficient, effective, and proactive administration and mail room support services to the British Red Cross?
We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our administration support team as an Administration Assistant. You will be providing crucial support to a vital service.

TO BE A SUCCESSFUL ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Positive, passionate and enthusiastic approach to customer service
  • Confident in using telephone systems, bespoke company IT/data systems, Microsoft packages & Outlook (especially the ability to create, amend and manipulate Word and Excel applications)
  • General administrative duties; incoming and outgoing mail, answering the telephone and scanning, filing, meeting and greeting clients
  • Outgoing with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with queries in a diplomatic, professional, sensitive and confidential manner (both verbally and in writing)
  • Ability to work accurately, with great attention to detail when checking documentation
  • Educated to standard grade level or equivalent
  • Well organised with sound administrative skills
