  • Proven administration experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident handling large volumes of information
  • Strong IT skills and ability to follow established processes accurately
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Proactive team player, willing to support colleagues as needed
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
  • NVQ or qualification in Business Administration is an advantage
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Coppersmith Recruitment and Services Ltd is recruiting on behalf of their client for an Administration Assistant to join their busy New Client Team (NCT). The NCT is the first point of contact for new enquiries, playing a vital role in delivering a professional and seamless experience for clients from the outset.
In this role, you will provide high-quality administrative support, assist with report checking and quality control, and ensure smooth handovers of client matters between departments. You’ll be part of a friendly team of six administrators who work collaboratively to deliver excellent service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responding to client queries and requests promptly
  • Entering details into the case management system accurately
  • Creating digital files and generating legal documents efficiently
  • Proofreading and conducting quality checks on live files before handover
  • Setting up accounts for Enquiries/Litigation assistants
  • Managing external client correspondence, including written communication when phone contact isn’t possible
  • Recording correspondence accurately
  • Providing general administrative support, including typing, printing, filing, and photocopying
  • Communicating effectively with external associates
  • Covering reception duties when required
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
