As an Administration Assistant, you will provide specialist administrative support to enable EML’s Legal & Technical teams to proactively manage personal injury claims effectively, in accordance with the requirements of the relevant jurisdiction. This will be a full time, 12 month contract position based in the Melbourne office, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Provide administrative support to Legal and Technical teams to progress and resolve specialist claims, litigated claims, and/or disputed matters. Manage information requests and exchanges related to specialist claims, litigated claims, and/or disputed matters in line with required workflows and timeframes. Liaise with providers and stakeholders in relation to specialist claims, litigated claims, and/or disputed matters. Maintain accurate records in the relevant claim system as directed. Prepare documentation and correspondence for specialist, pre-litigated, and litigated claims, and/or disputed matters. Assist with the preparation and distribution of reports as required. ABOUT YOU 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative role, ideally within an insurance, legal, or claims environment. Confident computer skills, with experience using ACCtion and NOVUS highly regarded. Exceptional attention to detail and strong time management skills to effectively manage competing priorities. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interpret basic technical terminology and Victorian legislation. A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive, collaborative team. WHAT WE OFFER We stand together as equals.
