About the Role

We are seeking an organised, proactive and adaptable Administrative Assistant to join our school administration team. Fixed Term - 12 month contract. This role is Part-Time - 0.6 FTE, and during school terms only.

Working closely with the Principal, leadership team and teaching staff, you will provide high-quality administrative support across a broad range of school operations including reception, financial administration, communications and school management systems.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

  • Provide administrative support to the school leadership team and staff.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations and other documentation.
  • Coordinate diaries, appointments and meetings.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records.
  • Assist with reception duties and respond professionally to enquiries from students, families and visitors.
  • Support school financial administration, including data entry and preparation of financial information for review.
  • Assist with government and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Prepare routine school communications for students, families and staff.
  • Assist with the preparation of newsletters, publications and social media content.
  • Provide administrative support for Compass and other school information systems.
  • Assist with maintaining databases, records and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain administrative tools and templates to support school operations.
  • Undertake other administrative duties as directed by the Principal, or Business Services Officer.
