Administration Assistant – Avoca Ward Clerk
Permanent Part Time – 48 hours per fortnight
Classification: Administration Officer Grade 1 (HS1)
Award: Victorian Public Health Sector (Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers) Single Interest Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and customer focused individual to join the Avoca Team on a permanent basis. Become part of a great community at our Avoca Campus as you assist in connecting our residents to great care. As an Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and outstanding administration support on an ongoing basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualification and/or experience in Administration desirable.
Technical/Professional Knowledge and skills
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise workload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent computer skills with the ability to utilise a range of different software including but not limited to; Microsoft Office, i.Patient Manager (iPM) and Visage.
- Demonstrated excellent phone technique and customer service focus.
- Ability to demonstrate highly developed communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to screen and attend to confidential and sensitive enquiries.
Desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Enthusiastic, committed and motivated approach with strong organisational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to be flexible and attentive to the varied and changing requirements of a busy office environment.
