THE PERSON

Essential requirements for the ideal candidate:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Administration
  • Familiar with a computerised patient information systems
  • The ability to interact and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary staff members within the Hermitage Clinic.
  • Flexibility/adaptability
  • Good Microsoft office skills to include MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills
  • Good time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to remain confidential with patient information
  • Ability to have empathy with patients
  • Practice high standard of customer service and care

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Experience with Meditech,system
  • Experience working in a Healthcare environment
  • QQI (or other) qualification in medical administration and terminology
Responsibilities

We are seeking two Administrative Assistants to join the Radiology team on a permanent basis. The role will report to the Radiology Administration Team Lead. The successful candidate is required to provide a professional and customer focused service to our referring consultant clients and their patients. You will be expected to be flexible to cover both our reception, registration and cashiering areas as well as work across the Radiology Scheduling Office.
