The Discovery Academy is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Administration Assistant/Receptionist to give support to an extremely busy and challenging Academy Reception/Office. You will need to have a calm and flexible attitude to work as well as being highly organised and able to effectively prioritise workloads. Experience of working with Microsoft Office and good skills in Excel and Word are desirable. Customer service skills along with a knowledge of Arbour would be highly beneficial. You will also be required to administer First Aid; training can be given for this. Hours of work will be 7:30am to 1:30pm Monday to Thursday and 11:00am to 5:00pm on Friday.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, including staff and students in accurate spoken English is essential for the post, therefore postholders must be able to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.
