Description

ABOUT US

The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia’s largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
Burrangiri Lodge is a 15 bed Aged Care Respite Centre with an attached week daytime Day Centre, located in Rivett, Canberra. Our operations cater specifically to aged care clients from the Canberra region.
Built 32 years ago as a purpose built site for respite care for Canberrans; we are here to facilitate early discharge from hospital or to prevent admissions where we can by providing a safe and supported care facility for temporary care and to facilitate carer relief for a day or a block of time.
Burrangiri is a cosy, comfortable home with a massive garden and a large north facing Sun Room. Burrangiri is conveniently located with access to public transport and ample parking at the Rivett Shops and only 5 minutes from Woden Town Centre. Burrangiri links in with many community and hospital based services to ensure the continuity of care here on site.
We are looking for a Part-Time Administration Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.
