MAKE THE MOMENT MATTER

If you’re looking for a career with a different kind of law firm, this is the moment to find out more - and apply.
Choosing the right company is about more than just the work—it’s about the people, the culture, and the opportunities to grow. At Thorntons Law, we’ve built something different. We’re one of Scotland’s largest and most respected full-service legal firms, but more importantly, we’re a firm that invests in you—your development, your ambitions, and your future.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be part of the Document Management Services team, ensuring the efficient management and organisation of legal documents and records. You will be responsible for various tasks related to document processing, filling, retrieval and archiving. Are you organised, detail-driven, and passionate about keeping things running like clockwork?

It’s about:

  • Administrative Support – delivering excellent administration support to colleagues and the wider firm to ensure all tasks are completed and run smoothly.
  • File Administration – maintain physical filing systems, ensuring that documents are filed and organised according to the firm’s filling standards and retention policies.
  • Documentation Management – managing, sorting and processing incoming documents including correspondence, principal documents, title deeds, wills, contracts and other legal materials and inputting them into the firms electronic document management system accurately and efficiently.
  • Legal Support – Assist lawyers, paralegals and other staff in retrieving and accessing documents, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Confidentiality management – adhering to data protection policies when handling sensitive or confidential information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
