ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR?

This role is a newly created position within a growing long term building business located in Toowoomba.
We are family-owned building company who are looking ideally for a candidate who lives within ½ hour of our location and who is seeking long term flexible and committed employment offering a great work-life balance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in a similar role as we are a growing and busy family-owned business.
  • Professionalism and customer rapport, with excellent phone and email etiquette.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated, highly driven individual with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stay focused, adaptable, and detail oriented under pressure
  • Building Industry knowledge/experience required
  • Attention to detail a necessity
  • Workplace Health and Safety legislation knowledge is highly regarded.
  • Flexible days and hours are an option
  • Minimum starting hours are 10 hours x 2 days per week with room to grow up to 20 hours per week.
  • Committed and reliable. You will be integral to this business and therefore reliability and commitment are a must.
Responsibilities
  • Customer inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Provide exceptional administrative support, including managing office correspondence and documentation, email inboxes etc.
  • PA Support to a very busy owner
  • Assist in driving the smooth coordination of jobs and processes
  • Maintain a high level of organization, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Assist with bookings, scheduling and other items as needed.
  • Communication with a range of people including: trades persons, clients, suppliers, employees and owners.
  • Sales Support with customer quotes, contracts, follow-ups and general inquiries.
  • General Office duties and travel arrangements
  • Completing Safe Work Method statements
  • Form certification lodgements relating to the building and construction industry
  • Scheduling, Tracking and Co-ordination of jobs and consistent communication with clients and staff
  • Contracts, variations and other necessary documentation completion
  • Knowledge of Xero and Builder Trend and advantage. Buildxact
  • All aspects of Microsoft 365 including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
  • Daily reporting of Activities
  • Workplace Health and Safety requirements and/or understanding
