WHAT WE NEED IN YOU:

  • Previous experience working within administration in a public practice firm - this is a must. We need you to understand our business
  • A positive, bubbly and outgoing disposition
  • A go getter attitude who is happy to take on whatever is thrown at them - a people pleaser!
  • Ability to work under pressure and utilise your well developed organisational skills - a list writer!
  • Excellent attention to detail - don’t let things slip through the cracks!
  • Ability to deal with all types of customers and build strong customer relationships
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with a range of IT applications and software such as Microsoft Office skills (Practice Ignition experience would be helpful)
  • Ability to work as a team

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are after someone who can help keep the cogs turning in the constantly churning machine that is our business. Our administration division is the backbone of our firm and because of that we are seeking someone with previous experience in public practice. We are looking for someone who understands the internal workings of what it takes to ensure a public practice firm’s administrative stream is running smoothly. This is a busy and varied role and we are looking for someone who is highly organised, has superior time management skills and is a great communicator. Multi-tasking across a variety of administrative tasks is a necessary skill along with attention to detail. Examples of these administrative duties include:

  • Overseeing the corporate secretarial function
  • Contacting the ATO on behalf of Accountants
  • Communicating directly with clients in relation to various tasks such as signing of documents
  • Invoicing
  • EFTPOS reconciliation
  • Banking
  • Debt management
  • Document and correspondence preparation
  • Working with a wide range of electronic and IT applications
  • Data entry
  • Working closely with the Practice Manager to ensure processes are adhered to
  • Developing excellent rapport and providing exceptional service to both team members and customers
  • Ad hoc administration projects
  • Filling in for reception at times
