Responsibilities

An opportunity has arisen for a full time Administration Officer in our Cervical Screening Department in Central London. Our laboratory is based in The Halo Building which is located close to St Pancras and Euston mainline stations. Applications are invited from enthusiastic and motivated staff for an administrative position.
As the single provider for NHS Cervical Screening Service (hr-HPV testing and cervical cytology) in the London Region we process in the region of 650, 000 tests per annum, in addition to providing a service to a number of independent clients.
We are looking for someone who is positive and proactive and a good team player. Good communication skills, use of Microsoft office suite and attention to detail is essential.
You will be involved in answering enquires via phone and email, sample receipt, data entry, preparation of multi-disciplinary team meetings (MDT’s) Ideally you will have some experience working in healthcare, but full training will be given.
The successful applicant will be expected to work 37.5hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
