Are you motivated and passionate Consulting Suite Administration Officer looking to step into a rewarding career opportunity?
Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our consulting suites team (Mon – Fri approx. 30 hours per week).
This is a great role for experienced and patient care-focused individuals.

ABOUT US

With 60 inpatients Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation beds, a rehabilitation gym and 3 operating theatres located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula our facility averages 760 admissions per month. Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programs on the Brisbane Northside.

Responsibilities

AS AN ADMINISTRATION OFFICER YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Greet patients
  • Manage a busy reception desk
  • Handle enquires with a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer and redirect calls
  • Organise appointments, reschedule, reminder SMS confirming booking
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
  • Manage collection of consultation fees via electronic payment
  • Liaising with staff from different departments, other GP clinics, hospitals
  • Accurate computer data entry

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Consulting suite experience essential (minimum 12 months) with exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Exceptional computer skills - MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Clinic 2 Cloud & Genie software experience (highly desirable)
  • Zedmed experience (desired)
  • Availability to work Monday – Friday 7.30am – 5pm
