Each is seeking a dynamic Administration Officer to provide essential administrative support to multiple Better Connect programs in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily activities within the services.


In this role, you’ll have a direct impact on our ability to deliver vital community services by:


  • Administrative Support: Providing administrative support to the Operations Manager, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and handling communication.
  • Documentation and Records: Maintaining accurate records, prepare documents, and assist in developing administrative systems.
  • Coordination: Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Event Support: Assisting with organising events, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Financial Administration: Supporting financial administration tasks like processing invoices, managing expenses, and tracking budgets.
  • Office Management: Managing office organisation, supplies, and equipment while ensuring health and safety protocols are followed.

About you


The successful candidate will have:


  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the healthcare, community services, or non-profit sector.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Understanding of the mental health, alcohol and other drug, and psychosocial support services sector is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills are crucial, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling information and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
