ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administration Officer (Level 3) to join the Community Older Persons Intervention and Liaison Outreach Team (COPILOT) within Primary and Community Health.
The successful applicant will provide high-level administrative support to the Team Leader and a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. This role also involves the coordination and support of virtual care services, requiring proficiency in managing digital platforms and virtual communication tools.

Responsibilities

The Community Older Persons Intervention and Liaison Outreach Team (COPILOT) administrative officer will provide administrative and general clerical support to the SWSLHD Community Older Persons Intervention and Liaison Outreach Team (COPILOT) to facilitate effective and efficient operations across the range of COPILOT services. This position whilst supervised by the COPILOT team leader relies on autonomous self-initiated working in the completion of a broad range of administrative, operational, clerical, customer service, data entry and billing work tasks and procedures.
The administrative officer will support the COPILOT Team Leader and the broader multidisciplinary COPILOT team in the day-to-day co-ordination and facilitation of the multidisciplinary model of care including the facilitation and co-ordination of all virtual care components. This will include the facilitation of outreach models and the co-ordination of client care needs with referrers including Residential Aged care facilities and other service providers including, SWSLHD hospital facilities and services, NSW Ambulance, General Practitioners and other contracted medical providers.
The administrative officer will be required to maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders (internal and external) to facilitate a high-quality client focused service. The COPILOT service will significantly use digital health technologies that the admin officer will oversee from an operational perspective.
