Medical Receptionist | Key Health - Multiple opportunities across SydneyKey Health Medical Practices is expanding, and we’re looking for warm, reliable and professional Medical Receptionists to join our growing team across multiple locations.

About the role

As a Medical Receptionist at Key Health, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and an important part of the care journey. You will help ensure the smooth day to day running of the practice while delivering a welcoming and professional experience for every patient.

There are opportunities to work across multiple sites for training, development and professional growth.

Our permanent Medical Receptionists are given opportunities to work towards Senior Medical Receptionist or Management roles.

Available locations and employment types:

Key Health Pagewood – Full time or part time (min. 4 days)

Onsite, undercover parking
Close to Westfield Eastgardens
Family and community focused

Key Health CBD South – Full time or part time

Centrally and conveniently located above Museum Station across from leafy Hyde Park
Exposure to a busy, fast paced environment offering GP services and occupational health

Key Health St Leonards – Full time or part time

Near Royal North Shore Hospital, walking distance to St Leonards Train Station and Crows Nest Metro Station

Key responsibilities

Providing friendly and professional customer service to patients, doctors and the wider clinical team
Answering phone calls, managing enquiries and booking appointments
Patient check in, processing payments and handling front desk operations
General administration including filing, emailing, faxing and correspondence
Supporting doctors, nurses and practice staff with daily administrative needs
Working closely with the reception team and Practice Manager to complete daily tasks accurately and on time
Following practice procedures for patient results, recalls and clinical administration
Assisting with patient triage and escalation of urgent matters where required
Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception and clinic environment
Ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with the Privacy Act 1988
Supporting additional tasks as directed by management or practice principals

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in a medical reception or administrative role (preferred)
Strong customer service skills and a patient focused approach
Confident using Microsoft Windows, HotDoc and general office systems
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
Calm, professional communication style, especially in busy or high pressure moments
