We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Administration Officer to join our team at St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital. As an Administration Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive patient journey through the hospital.

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is a 218 bed hospital and is revolutionising private health care in the Ipswich and West Moreton region. We’ve been growing and expanding our clinical capabilities and have recently opened the region’s first private emergency department along with a new intensive care unit which supports the Emergency Department, the hospital and is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with over 70 Australian sites employing over 34,000 people.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
Responsibilities

We are currently seeking applications for Administration Officers to support our Main Reception and Day Surgery Reception.

You will report to the Reception Team Leader and will be responsible for a range of administrative and system processes, including:

  • Admitting patients and managing high-volume admissions flow.
  • Reviewing, processing and submitting patient paperwork.
  • Confirming and processing patient Health Fund eligibility.
  • Providing professional and welcoming front-line service to patients, visitors and clinicians.

You must be available to work across a roster covering Monday to Friday (6am – 8pm) and some weekends.
