We are seeking an experienced and reliable administration officer professional to join our team as a Road Closure Permit Officer.
This is an opportunity to be involved with Brisbane City Council, one of the largest local governments in the Asia-Pacific region and one of the biggest employers in Queensland.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Planned Incident Management Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative services to support Council with the coordination of temporary traffic management applications and arrangements for major events and construction projects throughout the city.

You will need to have a commitment to customer service and an ability to multitask, be organised and a good problem solver. Tasks will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Assist with the management of work zone applications, construction projects and events
  • Undertake a broad range of administrative tasks including data entry, billing and invoicing functions
  • Sound communication, consultation and negotiation skills including the ability to resolve enquiries and requests
