Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a part-time (0.4FTE), fixed-term (8 months approx.) position to provide administrative support to federated Training Committees, primarily the West Australian Psychiatry Training Committee (WAPTC). The preferred working schedule includes Monday in the office and Thursday working from home; however, we are flexible with this arrangement. The only requirement is attendance on the third Thursday of each month, either in the office or remotely, for the WA BTC meeting.
Duties include, but are not limited to, providing support for the Committee Chair, undertaking data audits, maintaining committee and training program records, and fostering good relationships between federated Training Committees and the central College.

KEY TASKS INCLUDE:

  • Supporting the planning of WAPTC meetings, including agenda and documentation preparation, attending meetings to take minutes, and monitoring and actioning outcomes.
  • Providing clear and accurate advice related to training programs and Training Committee operations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the development and review of policies and procedures and undertake reviews of standard operating procedures to contribute to the continuous improvement of Training Committee administrative operations.
