About the opportunity: This role will support the Service Manager in a range of day to day administrative and support tasks. Being the first point of contact for residents, families and staff, you will be responsible for providing courteous reception and administrative support, including rostering of the staff at the facility Facilitate communication with residents and / or their families and staff in relation to office administration requirements. Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day activities of the office ensuring administrative, clerical and reception services are provided to the residents, visitors and staff. Provide timely and effective support to managers. Efficient and effective maintenance of document and data storage. What you’ll bring: You’re reliable, resilient and have a whole lot of heart. To thrive in this role, you will have: Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or aged care setting. Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Roster Management and Finance Management High level of interpersonal, organisational & communication skills (written and verbal). High attention to detail and previous knowledge of roster planning. Excellent time management skills and an ability to manage conflicting priorities. Experience in Aged Care or Health environment (desirable but not essential). A sense of empathy & compassion for elderly residents & their families. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality around client data records.
