Description
Compensation Range $75,000 - $80,000 / Year Position Overview: Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office, with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week. The Cheesecake Factory’s Kitchen Operations team is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Administrative Coordinator to support our culinary and operational excellence across all restaurant concepts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about documentation, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, especially those with restaurant experience and a service-minded approach. You’ll be responsible for preparing and maintaining restaurant-facing materials including recipes, procedures, and media assets. You’ll partner closely with Culinary Operations, Culinary R&D, and cross-functional departments to ensure all documentation meets brand standards and supports seamless execution in the field. You'll thrive in this role if you are: A Documentation Specialist: you take pride in creating clear, accurate, and visually consistent materials that others can easily follow. Detail Obsessed: you notice the small things that others might miss—whether it’s formatting, phrasing, or version control—and you make sure everything is just right. Service Minded: you’re approachable, responsive, and thrive on supporting others to ensure smooth operations. A Clear Communicator: you can translate culinary and technical details into documentation that makes sense for every audience—from chefs to executives. Collaborative by Nature: you work well with diverse teams, balancing multiple priorities while keeping relationships positive and productive. Here’s more of what you’ll get to do: Format, finalize, and distribute recipes and procedures across multiple concepts. Translate culinary feedback into standardized documentation during recipe read-throughs. Manage recipe formatting and cleanup in collaboration with Culinary Ops leadership. Coordinate media shoots and template approved content for recipe documentation. Oversee quarterly media cleanup and manage digital content uploads via workflow platforms (e.g., Teamwork). Prepare and distribute meeting notes using standardized templates. Communicate policy and procedural updates clearly across departments. Provide proactive administrative support to the Sr. Project Manager and cross-functional teams. Support Kitchen Operations special events and equipment service tracking. Maintain the Ecolab product manual and label machine updates. What we require: 1+ years of experience in administrative coordination, culinary operations, or hospitality project support. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and contribute to process improvements. What we prefer: Restaurant industry experience (especially kitchen, server, or bar roles). Experience with documentation systems like NorthStar and workflow tools like Teamwork. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality/Restaurant Management, or a related field. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Culinary, Facilities, QA, and Sustainability teams. Passion for shaping documentation standards and enhancing operational tools. What we offer: Vacation and sick time Medical, Dental & Vision 401K with company match Tuition reimbursement 25%-35% discount when dining as a guest Annual stipend for dining in our restaurants About the Company: Named to FORTUNE Magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For®” list every year since 2014, The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is a leader in experiential dining.
