About the role As Administration Support Officer – BiOC, your role is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient administration and service coordination to contribute to the achievement of BiOC Strathpine business objectives, including increased practice patient numbers, attendance rates, transport logistics and billings. Your day to day duties may include: Implement practices to achieve high booking and attendance rates for multi-disciplinary service provider appointments. Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of referral and follow-up pathways between local clinics and multi-disciplinary service providers. Support Medical Reception where needed to maximise all billing opportunities for all appointments – i.e. MBS, CCSS, Workcover. Provide general admin support to the Clinic Team including photocopying, compilation of materials/folders, preparation for program activities. Perform general word processing duties including typing letters, agendas, minutes and reports. About you To perform this role, it is essential that the incumbent is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD) Current Criminal History Check Knowledge and understanding (or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and understanding of) the Australian Medicare Benefit Schedule (MBS) and the Medicare system and Practice Incentive Programs (PIP).
