Part time (0.6FTE), 12 month fixed term An exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrative Officer to join the dedicated team at the Centre for Child and Adolescent Health Research Base Salary $103,185 (pro-rata) + 17% superannuation About the opportunity We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Centre Administrative Officer to provide high-level administrative and operational support within our Centre for Child and Adolescent Health Research. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to staff, students, and stakeholders. As the Centre Administrative Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the work area. You will manage a broad range of administrative services, provide guidance to staff, and support the delivery of key operational activities. Collaborate effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals and support colleagues in delivering high-quality outcomes . Your key responsibilities will be to: deliver high quality administrative and operational support, resolving complex issues as needed manage diaries, events, travel and accommodation maintain accurate data, support compliance reporting and oversee purchasing coordinate meetings, seminars and workshops including agendas and minutes and booking catering and IT support lead stakeholder communication, support planning and promote health and safety while undertaking additional duties as required Marketing activities; supports the upkeep of centre’s website and social media platforms undertakes other duties and projects within the classification level as required. About you a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience 2–4 years of administrative experience in a complex environment strong organisational and time-management skills high-level computer literacy, including microsoft office experience managing expenditure and financial processes excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills the ability to work independently, solve problems and anticipate needs a commitment to integrity, compliance and service excellence Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
