About the role In this role, you will provide administrative support to the City’s Community Care department, with a customer service focus to staff, clients, their families and the broader community on the quality of services. Work type:     1 x Permanent Full Time                        1 x Fixed Term Full Time (through to 14 June 2027)                  Key responsibilities include: * Assisting leaders and team members in delivering activities in administration support * Understand and follow standard processes, ask questions and seek support when uncertain.  * Undertake rostering activities ensuring services are accurately scheduled, recorded and aligned with approved client plans.   * Complete Finance activities which include but aren’t limited to raising Purchase Orders (POs), receipting, processing invoices and debtors. * Monitor and manage multiple administrative inboxes and waitlists, triaging, actioning and escalating items in a timely manner. About you To be successful in this role, you will have prior experience in an administrative role and be comfortable liaising with a diverse range of people. You will be highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. Essential Experience: * Relevant qualification and/or demonstrated experience in an administration support role, preferably within a complex service delivery or community care environment. * Demonstrated ability to support service delivery, finance, payroll and workforce processes, with strong attention to accuracy and detail. * Experience working across multiple systems and platforms, including the ability to cross‑check and validate data to identify discrepancies and minimise risk. * Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, accurate records and work collaboratively with stakeholders. * Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately, with a willingness to learn, adapt and continuously improve administrative practices. * Current Working with Children’s Check If this sounds like the role for you, then click apply now!
