Overview: Casual role supporting the Aviation Academy HEW 4 + 12% superannuation Based on the Point Cook campus; attendance on-site required About the Role The Aviation Academy Administration Support Officer provides administrative support to the Leadership team to support effective day-to-day operations at the Point Cook and Bendigo campuses. The role provides high-level administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the office. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can coordinate workflows, manage priorities, and assist in the delivery of organisational objectives Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support to the Aviation Academy Senior Leadership team including support for the Administration Officer in tasks such as triaging incoming business enquires, student onboarding, generating and maintaining student and instructor data and files. Daily administration of the Aviation Academy office including supporting the Senior Leadership team in scheduling and credit card management. Assist the Administration Officer with delivery of an efficient office including tasks such as arranging student materials and maintain the business asset register. Assist in the organisation of student information sessions and other social activities for staff and students. Assist with planning and coordination of marketing events including catering or other suppliers, for example, for University Open Days and other Industry Events. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation for staff and students, including arrangements for Bendigo Accelerated Flying program. Other duties as required as directed within the scope of the classification. About You To be successful in this position, you’ll have: At least one year of experience in delivery of administrative services. Ability to work effectively, flexibly, and collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit, contributing to the achievement of team goals. Proven ability to work independently and under direction, use initiative to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a demanding environment with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of the aviation and flight training industry (desirable).
