Description

Survivors Unite provides dedicated, skilled, compassionate and flexible sexual abuse recovery support to adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse in the Scottish Borders through the provision of the Safe Oaks Project.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Office and HR Administrator. This is a varied role supporting the smooth running of our office and HR operations.
The post is based at our Selkirk premises. The main working days are Tuesday and Thursday. The role also involves attending a monthly Monday team meeting and a bi-monthly Trustee meeting. There also may be occasional need to work from other locations for events and conferences.
As an Administration Support Worker, you will manage client referrals by verifying and inputting forms into our database, ensuring confidentiality agreements are received, and maintaining client communications. You will also manage staff annual leave, contract renewals, and maintain up-to-date HR records.
Office duties include general admin tasks (stationery, postage, calls, document scanning), maintaining secure document storage, and managing office schedules and inventory. You will also assist with writing our newsletter, equipment purchases, track utility readings, and update inventory lists.
You will liaise with clients, referrers, and staff, keeping everyone informed of relevant updates, and support the organisation’s social media presence.
Experience with CRM systems preferred (training can be given), strong organisational and communication skills, familiarity with administration, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. You must also be able to handle confidential information securely.
The applicant must be committed to the role, be reliable and responsive.
