Olivet Home Care, a trusted not-for-profit aged care provider with over 75 years of serving the community, is seeking an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our supportive Home Care team in Ringwood.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, has strong administrative and financial reconciliation skills, and is passionate about supporting older people to remain living independently in their own homes.

About the Role

As the Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative support to the Home Care team, ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the service. You will assist with client administration, service provider management, financial reconciliation, payroll administration, reporting, and compliance activities while contributing to the delivery of high-quality home care services.

Working closely with the Home Care Manager and wider team, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate records, supporting staff compliance, and ensuring organisational processes are completed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the Home Care team.
  • Manage documentation and contractual requirements for external service providers.
  • Maintain employee training and compliance records for Home Care Workers.
  • Assist with the preparation, generation and reconciliation of client financial statements and accounts.
  • Support end-of-month reporting and administrative processes.
  • Coordinate office payroll administration in line with organisational requirements.
  • Maintain accurate client and organisational records.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide backup support for scheduling functions during planned leave periods.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, aged care standards and legislative requirements.

What You'll NeedEssential

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within aged care, community services or health.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Working in a busy and varied role, ideal candidates must be able to work under pressure within time constraints.
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination.
