Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Administrative Accounting Clerk. This role supports both our accounting operations and loan servicing functions. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in accounting or bookkeeping, experience with QuickBooks, and is comfortable interacting with borrowers and managing financial data.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or loan servicing (real estate or private lending experience a plus).
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with credit reporting and property tax schedules is preferred.
  • Strong collection experience

Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable: Process outgoing payments, track invoices, and ensure timely payment cycles.
  • Accounts Receivable: Input payments received and collection of past due payments. Strong experience with collection, which includes following up on past-due accounts and assisting in the management of delinquent loans.
  • Credit Reporting: Support monthly credit reporting procedures for borrower accounts.
  • QuickBooks Data Entry: Input and manage all financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks, including JE’s and bank reconciliations.
  • Loan Servicing Assistance: Monitor loan activity, track escrow analysis, and communicate with borrowers as needed. Provide responsive and professional service to borrowers regarding loan inquiries, statements, and payoff requests.
  • Administrative Duties: Answering phones and emails, managing files and records, coordinating communication between departments. Save and track transactions for the end-of-year audit.
