Description

We are seeking a detailed-orientated and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for numbers and a desire to grow within the financial services.

SKILLS

· Proficiency in accounting Software, Profit4 software is desirable but not essential.
· Strong Data entry skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
· Knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable processes
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
· Previous experience in financial services is desirable, however, not essential.

  • Administrative: 2 years (required)

Responsibilities

· Answer Phone calls and Emails from customers/Suppliers
· Greeting visitors and notifying the necessary person/s
· Filing of daily post
· Filing of Customer and Supplier details and transferring information to Profit4
· Creating Accounts on Profit4
· Sales/Purchase invoicing
· Commercial invoicing
· Creating POs
· Credit control
· Filing customer Statements/remittances
· Employee Payroll (applying Holidays, Employee time sheets, sicknesses and absence onto Vanquish)
· Fuel Card analysis
· Service receipt analysis
· Utilities Analysis
· Adhoc tasks
