Precision Electric Motor Sales, an employee-owned company, is a nationwide distributor of electric motors serving industries such as manufacturing, HVAC, energy, and automation. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer support. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative and Accounting Assistant to support day-to-day office operations and financial processes. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing administrative tasks while also performing basic accounting duties such as invoicing, data entry, and account reconciliation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma required, Associate’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or accounting support role
  • Knowledge of accounting software Sage a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data
    Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and assist with internal communications
  • Prepare and organize documents, reports, and presentations
  • Communicate with customers via email and phone about orders and tracking
  • Assist with returns, exchanges, and warranty claim processing
  • Perform general office support tasks as needed
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Maintain tax exemptions certificates and sales tax records
  • Support monthly and year-end closing processes
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
