Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, handle customer inquiries, and assist with office tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Duties:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks
- Perform order entry and maintain accurate records
- Maintain database in Shul Cloud (Member management program)
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Utilize organizational skills to manage files, documents, and office supplies efficiently
- Conduct clerical duties such as filing, and photocopying, ordering office supplies
- Assist with event planning and coordination (sometimes will be in the evening and on weekends)
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and staff
- Experience with Quickbooks for basic accounting tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus
