Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Location: Bannockburn, IL (100% In-Office)
Industry: Accounting/Consulting
Pay: $50,000 – $65,000 / Annually (potential up to $70,000 for the right candidate) + Overtime eligibility

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Administrative Assistant will provide direct support to partners, managers, and directors, ensuring the smooth operation of daily business functions. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a team-driven, fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3–5+ years of administrative experience; professional services industry strongly preferred (accounting, legal, banking, or insurance).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and team-oriented mindset—comfortable with varying workloads and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to leadership team members.
  • Assist with billing, payment processing, and preparation of tax documents.
  • Assemble and track client tax returns through internal systems.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, travel, and events.
  • Draft and edit correspondence; maintain organized filing systems.
  • Support general office operations, including supplies and shared spaces.
  • Participate in evening and weekend hours during busy tax seasons.
