Description Advanced Health Care of Hanover is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-service-focused Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in our healthcare setting. This role is often the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and families, so a calm, friendly presence and strong attention to detail are essential. Schedule: Full-Time, M - F, 8:00 AM - 4:30 AM (EST) Key Duties Answer, screen, and route calls; greet and assist visitors; operate the phone and paging systems Maintain accurate resident census (names/room numbers) Keep updated emergency, reference, key personnel, and medical staff phone lists Receive, sort, and distribute mail and assigned correspondence Provide information per facility release-of-information policies Enforce visitation policies; screen visitors and use good judgment in granting entrance Handle complaints by directing them to the appropriate department Remain calm and effective in emergencies; follow fire/disaster procedures and safety/infection control policies Work cooperatively with residents, families, and all facility staff; perform other duties as assigned Requirements What We’re Looking For Strong communication skills and customer service skills in person and on the phone Accurate typing and basic computer/word processing skills Detail-orientated and organized Professional appearance, discretion, and sound judgment Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Previous experience or understanding of a Skilled Nursing Facility is a bonus but not required Physical Requirements: Work is performed in a medical setting due to the need to work directly with other employees, residents, and their families. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, and twist. Required vision includes close, vision, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus. Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the department supervisor/manager.
