Alpha Aviation Inc., operators of the Boundary Bay Airport, have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join their growing organization. Based in their main office at the Boundary Bay Airport (CZBB) in Delta, BC, this role requires someone who brings strong organizational skills, great communication skills and a flair for out of box thinking in a fast-paced operational environment. As the “face” to clients, customers, vendors, pilots, and Alpha Aviation team members, the Administrative Assistant position will be very dynamic, where no day will be the same!

REQUIREMENTS:
· Strong organization skills
· Experience working in a team environment
· Able to work in-person 5 days a week on site at Boundary Bay Airport
· After-hours availability for on-demand urgent needs and requests
· Must have use of their own personal vehicle to run errands and support other requests (we will reimburse for gas mileage when used for business purposes)
· A can-do customer service-oriented attitude, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and strong aptitude for learning
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills – organized, high attention to detail, and strong knowledge of MS 365 including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe
· Ability to use office equipment, such as phone system and comfortable using video conferencing technology
· Social media savvy
· Ensuring seamless day-to-day operations of the office, including reception (answering phone calls, greeting guests), phone and IT support for all team members (set up virtual meetings via Zoom, Teams or conference), meeting coordination, and filing of documents
· General office upkeep and maintenance
· Manage Inventory of office supplies, stationary and other office essentials, and placing orders as required
· Supporting the general upkeep of the pilot lounge
· Act as the main point of contact for all general communications for Alpha Aviation - drafting and sending letters, emails, and other forms of correspondence, checking mail and distributing accordingly, and communication to stakeholders including Board members, the City of Delta, flight schools and tenants
· Administrative support for the operations, customer service and finance teams
· Support the marketing and event planning – assisting with the annual Airshow, organizing and coordinating company events, managing and optimizing social media accounts, assisting IT with website maintenance and drafting of content, and overseeing membership and sponsorship of various aviation and business associations
