In this role, you collect and manage financial and sustainability data from arable farming companies for the Business Information Network (BIN). You maintain your own portfolio of arable farming companies and/or another agricultural sector (dairy cattle, poultry, pigs, goats, or sheep). You are also responsible for relationship management with these entrepreneurs. Therefore, you work closely with our BIN participants at one of our regional offices: Alkmaar, The Hague, Drachten, Holten, Goes, Oisterwijk, Meijel, or Wageningen.
The Business Information Network is a network of approximately 1,500 agriculture and horticulture companies, 100 cutters and other vessels active in the fishing industry, and 150 forestry companies. Within Wageningen Social & Economic Research, around 65 administrative assistants maintain this network. The main tasks and activities as an administrative assistant arable farming are:

In addition to these first-rate employee benefits, you will of course receive a good salary. We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between € 3,321.- and € 4,374.- for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 8). If you do not fully meet the job requirements yet, you may be placed in salary scale 7 as a starting point.
As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended - if possible within (company) organizational circumstances - on good performance. Of course, we are happy to have a conversation with you if you have any questions about this.
