Job Summary

BCK (Birmingham) Limited is an FCA‑regulated firm seeking a reliable, organised, and professional Administrative Assistant to support the day‑to‑day running of the office. This part‑time role is suited to someone who is detail‑oriented, discreet, and comfortable working independently while supporting a small team in a regulated financial services environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for general administrative duties, maintaining accurate records, handling correspondence, and contributing to a well‑organised and professional office environment. The role may also involve assisting with general office support tasks to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the business.

Responsibilities

  • General office administration and filing (digital and paper‑based)
  • Handling confidential client and company information in line with FCA and data protection requirements
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to emails in a professional and courteous manner
  • Data entry and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting with scheduling, diaries, and appointments
  • Preparing basic documents, letters, and reports
  • Supporting compliance, record‑keeping, and audit requirements as needed
  • Providing ad‑hoc administrative and office support within a professional setting

Skills

  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
