Description

The primary responsibilities will include clerical support such as answering phone calls, verifying benefits, scanning documents, and other administrative tasks. We are looking for candidates with experience in HMO senior health plans and/or commercial health plans. Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry is highly preferred, as well as proficiency with Microsoft applications.\ This position is onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ideal individual will have strong customer service skills, solid organizational abilities, patience, and attention to detail. They should be comfortable using basic office equipment and maintaining accurate records, while also demonstrating confidentiality and a strong ethical approach. Experience verifying medical benefits and familiarity with medical terminology or coding are definite pluses. Rate is fixed at $21/hr. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Palm Desert, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.58 - $22.58/hr.
