Description Butte Sand and Gravel, a Morehead Family Company and one of the leading sand and gravel producers and transportation providers in the region, is hiring a detail oriented Administrative Assistant. Butte Sand and Gravel offers a positive work environment and competitive wages. This is a full-time position located in Sutter, CA. Essential Duties: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing crucial administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth operation of the office. This includes: Manage the phone lines and transfer calls to the appropriate employees Provide inside sales information to customers regarding price of material and delivery of aggregate products Take orders and offer assistance to customers as needed Assist dispatchers with job changes and typing orders Backup the weighmaster Inputting and sending out accounts payable Printing and distributing subhaul statements and checks Input and send out invoices and statements Other miscellaneous duties as requested Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Must have 3-5 years of experience in a similar position Microsoft Office experience Successfully pass pre-employment drug screening Must be a detail oriented individual that is able to work well with others Must be dependable, trustworthy, and have a positive attitude Must be able to work extended hours and some weekends during the busy season Must be organized and have good time management Strong customer service skills Computer knowledge Education: High school diploma or GED (required) AA or Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required Equal Opportunity Employer: We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
