Administrative Assistant (Cardiac MRI/UPMC Presbyterian) Seeking a position where you work closely with a small team to provide exemplary care? Join our Cardiac MRI team at UPMC Presbyterian and help us to provide top quality, safe care that helps to diagnose and assist physicians in treatment planning. We are looking for someone with a positive, friendly attitude and good organizational skills. Schedule: Monday-Friday, daylight hours, no weekends or holidays Responsibilities: Scheduling and screening patients for their Cardiac MRI exam Confirming prior-authorization has been obtained by ordering MD office Efficient use of wait list to help backfill last minute cancellations Working with nursing and tech staff to make sure patients can be cleared to safely undergo testing Assisting department staff with operational needs Other duties as assigned High school diploma or equivalent Three years experience in an administrative support role preferred Ability to perform advanced functions in word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation and database software Ability to use applicable MS Suite products Working knowledge of business processes and procedures Knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles and functions Ability to analyze data and use basic reasoning skills Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: Act 34 UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran
