Description The Catholic Foundation of Northeast Kansas is a 501(c)3 organization affiliated with the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. The Foundation works with parishes, schools and ministries of the archdiocese to build long-term financial resources. Provide administrative, clerical and operational support to CFNEK, working under the guidance and direction of the Executive Director, Controller and Director of Development to accomplish the mission of the Foundation. Occasionally work unusual hours which may include evenings and weekends, beyond the regularly expected weekly 40 hours. Duties and Responsibilities: · Assist the Executive Director and CFNEK Board with written and verbal communications as needed, taking notes, producing minutes; maintains files for CFNEK including policies, by-laws, rosters and legal documents. · Assist with the administration of the CFNEK office by answering phones, providing donor information, processing mail (electronic and USPS), manage Executive Director’s calendar, maintain CFNEK.org, and coordinating foundation activities. · Process requisitions and assist in administration of the department budget within established policies and parameters. · Assist with all marketing events organized by CFNEK including coordination of meeting logistics. · Organize and maintain electronic files/records for CFNEK. · Maintain an inventory of office equipment and supplies. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Abide by CFNEK’s values: Integrity, Results Driven, Team Player. · Communicate effectively in verbal and written forms. · Ability to work with a variety of personalities and cultures with diplomacy, friendliness, and poise. · Intermediate proficiency in MSOffice Suite of products. · Excellent phone skills. · Maintain composure in during challenging times. · Knowledge and understanding of the mission of the Catholic Church and the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas is preferred. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business (accounting, economics, marketing etc.) or communications, preferred. · CAP - Certified Administrative Professional certification, preferred. · Three to five years of professional experience in administrative assistant work or similar field preferred. · Practicing Catholic in good standing is helpful and preferred.
