CHAPLAIN’S OFFICE The Chaplain’s Office was established as early as the founding of Hong Kong Baptist University, a leading liberal arts University in Asia, proudly built upon the heritage of Christian higher education. Operated with the support of donations, the Chaplain’s Office plays an important role in maintaining a Christian presence and heritage of the University and is committed to character building of students and to provide quality pastoral care and spiritual support to the University community. Administrative Assistant (25260251) The appointee will be required to perform administrative and clerical support to Chaplain’s Office as follows: Responsibilities: Maintaining office daily operations; Handing frontline services; Supporting administration tasks and promoting various office activities; Updating the website; Designing promotional materials; Supervising student helpers; and Performing any other duties as assigned. Requirements: An associate degree or equivalent qualification; fresh graduates will be considered; Good communication skills and good computer literacy; Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese; and Self-motivated, able to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong sense of responsibility. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend for a written test. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and availability of funding.
