We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our Youth Development programs, ensuring their smooth and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities: Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and is team oriented Ability to build strong relationships, inspire confidence and work effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders; professionalism and discretion are key components of this role; must maintain highly confidential information. Handles and resolves typical youth program concerns and informs supervisors of unusual situations or unresolved issues Communicates program information, registration information, schedules, etc., patiently, effectively and consistently with members Processes registrations and payments for all aspects of youth programs Assists in monitoring waitlists and program openings for full programs Assists in managing collections function for Youth Programs; works with Leaders monthly to review and resolve outstanding collections for their departments Purchases snack for childcare programs Tracks staff trainings/certifications Coordinates staff trainings throughout the year At the Y, we are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we believe that a diverse team strengthens our community. Requirements Requires reading, communication, math and problem-solving skills equivalent to high school or GED. At least two years of related administrative work experience At least intermediate level skills with core business software, including the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms), Adobe Acrobat) Enrolled in the Child Care Division Central Background Registry or ability to enroll within first 30 days.
